Since 1999 the City of Port Phillip has introduced over eighty environmental initiatives to improve living for our community by achieving energy savings, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building a sustainable environment.  The council's new recycling service make it easy for Port Phillip residents and businesses to contribute to improving our environment.

Residential Recycling Collection Collection days, what you can put in your container, container sizes and charges, new, lost or damaged containers, hard rubbish, chemical disposal.
Business Recycling Collection A weekly office/lunchroom clearance of recyclable materials is available free of charge. Fees apply for other commercial clearance services.
Yellow Lid recycling bins All houses in the City of Port Phillip have now recieved their new recycling bin.
