Buying a Property - Notification

Have you recently purchased a property in the City of Port Phillip? If so, it is your responsibility to notify the Victorian State Revenue Office of any change in property ownership within 28 days of acquisition.


You also need to advise the City of Port Phillip when you purchase a property. Please download and complete the Notice of Acquistion form. Forward a copy to the City of Port Phillip's rate department (contact details below).

Please ensure you provide your conveyancer/solicitor and council with an up to date mailing address for future notices. 

Selling a Property - Notification

You will also need to obtain a Land Information Certificate from the City of Port Phillip, as well as advising the council of your sale. Please download and complete the Notice of Disposition form. Forward a copy to the City of Port Phillip's rate department (contact details below).  

Change of Address

Have you changed your mailing address since you last received a notice from the City of Port Phillip? If so, the council requires notification in writing of your new mailing address.

To help us update your records please download and complete the Change of Address form, and forward a copy to the City of Port Phillip's rate department (contact details below).
