If you disagree with a rate or charged imposed by the City of Port Phillip, you have the right of appeal to the County Court for a review of that rate or charge. An appeal must be lodged within 60 days of receiving a written notice.

You are invited to approach the City of Port Phillip directly before engaging in the formal administrative process of appeal. Quite often, queries can be resolved at the local level, saving you time and money.

Please note: an objection to a property valuation is a different matter to an objection with a rate or charge.
