Sandringham line
The Sandringham line train connects St Kilda Town Hall and St Kilda Library with Melbourne city and other train services, via Balaclava railway station.

Trams
Tram 109 Port Melbourne to Box Hill
The 109 tram connects Port Melbourne to the city and eventually the eastern suburbs. It is the primary public transport route to Port Phillip's Depot and transfer station (Montague Street stop) and Port Melbourne Town Hall (Raglan Street stop). It connects with services to South Melbourne and St Kilda (Trams 112 and 96) at the Crown Casino tram interchange.

Tram 112 South Melbourne / St Kilda Beach - West Preston (via City)
The 112 tram connects South Melbourne and Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, as well as providing access to the CBD. t is not as direct a link as the 96 lightrail tram between the St Kilda and South Melbourne town halls but can be useful if you miss the 96 or if you want to take a more scenic journey.

Tram 96 St Kilda Beach to East Brunswick
The number 96 lightrail tram is the quickest link between St Kilda and South Melbourne town halls, taking only 10 minutes. A 5-10 minute walk at each end means a typical trip can take around 20-25 minutes, comparable to the time needed for driving & parking. The 96 also links into the Melbourne city via Swanston street.
