Senior Contracts Officer

• Band 8, Salary Range $80,375 to $90,073 p.a. plus superannuation
• Permanent – Full Time

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Contracts Officer to work within the dynamic and vibrant Procurement Team where growth and development is encouraged.

As an experienced Contracts Officer, you will have the demonstrated capacity to co-ordinate the provision of tender and contracts advice, documentation, training and support across the organisation. Your leadership capacity shall ensure staff has access to high quality advice on probity, compliance, and good business practice.

To ensure your success in this role you will be a good communicator with a flexible work approach, have a good eye for detail and have the ability to work through problems and meet deadlines in a challenging environment.

Animal Management Officer

• Permanent – Full Time
• Band 5, salary range $50,281 to $58,589 plus allowances and superannuation

The person we are seeking will be self motivated, have excellent communications and customer service skills and able to work with minimal supervision; be an active team player in a team environment; be able to investigate and assess alleged non-compliance under the Domestic Animals Act and other Acts as required.  A Certificate IV in Animal Regulation and Control is desirable.

There is an on-call requirement (approximately every three weeks) and some overtime, including weekend work, may be required.  Interested candidates should obtain a copy of the position description for a more thorough understanding of the role.

Community Transport Officers

• Casual
• Band 4, 28.34 per hour plus superannuation.

The City of Port Phillip’s Community Access Service is responsible for operating Port Phillip’s valuable Community Transport Service.

We are currently looking for staff who have an Endorsed Drivers Licence to become casual backup Bus Drivers for our service.

The people we are seeking will be community minded, have a good understanding of the value of providing community transport particularly to people who are socially isolated, frail aged or have a disability.

Early Childhood Educators

Early Childhood Educators (Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent), Trained Assistants (Certificate III) and Kindergarten Teachers (Degree qualified) to join an enthusiastic team to provide stimulating, developmentally appropriate programs to children 0 – 6 years.  Conditions include nine days per fortnight. Children's Respite Carers - Permanent Part Time

You will care for children and young people with additional needs for short periods of time in their family home or visiting places of interest in the local community. Salary range $40,522 - $44,243 pro rata plus superannuation.

Maternal & Child Health Nurse Relievers

The Maternal and Child Health Service is also seeking suitably qualified MCH nurses to join our bank of casual staff.

Flexible child friendly hours are negotiable with a salary range of $47.166 - $48.923 per hour pro rata plus superannuation. A 25% casual loading will also be applied.
