St Kilda Foreshore - A guided trailWalking along the Elwood Foreshore is not only fun, it is also a low-impact way of keeping fit.

Walking includes more than people who stride or stroll. It also includes those who get around by wheeling in their chairs, or with the help of their walking sticks, or pushed in strollers.

Made in Port
Sunday 7 December 2008, 10.00am - 12noon
Neighborhood: Port Melbourne
Leader: Janet Bolitho
From marine engines to whiskey, it was made in Port. We visit former industrial sites where an amazing variety of goods were once manufactured by the wharves but have now succumbed to demolition or transformation into glamorous apartment blocks.

Meeting place: Beacon Cove Light Rail Stop 129 (side nearest the Beacon Cove Foodstore), Melway 2J A6.

There are a number of groups that run guided walks in the Port Phillip area.  The friends of St Kilda cemetery run walks around the cemetery. Details for their walks can be found on their website Friends of St Kilda Cemetery.
