The City of Port Phillip has a rich and diverse heritage. This is represented in the unique heritage items and artworks in the Port Phillip City Collection. Council manages a number of heritage projects, and a local history librarian is available to assist members of the public with research enquiries about the history of the area. There are a number of heritage activities in which to participate, places to visit and groups to join. Information about heritage planning issues is also available.
