Palais Roof Refurbishment

The Palais Roof Refurbishment Project will commence construction in January 2012.

Works will include the construction of a new roof over the existing heritage structure, incorporationg the replacement of all gutters and downpipes.

As a part of these works Council will also be removing all redundant water tanks and associated infrastructure.

February Update

Works have now commenced on site with the construction of scaffolding to the perimeter of the Palais Theatre. Scaffold to be completed by the end of the month with the upgrade of the new roof to commence by 1 March 2012.
