St Kilda - July 15, 2002

Over 200 people attended the St Kilda neighbourhood forum to ask questions about current issues in the area and to hear presentations by community and council speakers.

Topics included: An outline of capital works in 'pocket parks', Talbot & Jacoby Reserves; Policing in St Kilda; Outreach Services in the City of Port Phillip for the street sex workers and drug users; Attorney General Street Prostitution Advisory Group (AGSPAG); Junction Area Action Group (JAAG); Port Phillip Online - City of Port Phillip website.

East St Kilda - June 17, 2002

Topics presented by staff included planning and urban character issues, community housing, parking, graffiti and responsible animal management. The program also included a presentation on Port Phillip Online, the council's website. Councillors Darren Ray (mayor) and Dick Gross and senior staff were in attendance to answer questions from the community.
