Minibus hire

Council owns six minibuses that are available for hire by registered City of Port Phillip Community Groups within the municipality. 

Two buses are based at Liardet Street Community Centre, two at St Kilda Town Hall and two at the Cora Graves Centre, St Kilda. 

The two buses at St Kilda, one at Liardet St and one at Cora Graves include some great features:

  • retractable seat belts on all seats,
  • electric windows,
  • radio and cd player,
  • air conditioning,
  • safety step and hand rail,
  • reclining seats,
  • non-slip surfaces,
  • full size broom,
  • dust-pan and shovel and bi-fold back seats! 

Bus Information

  • Buses 1 & 2 at St Kilda are 12 seater buses
  • Bus 3 at Port Melbourne is a 12 seater bus
  • Bus 4 at Port Melbourne is a 7 seater hoist bus including driver if 2 wheelchairs are transported, 8 seater if 1 wheelchair and a 10 seater if no wheelchairs are transported
  • Bus 5 at the Cora Graves Centre is a 12 seater bus
  • Bus 6 at the Cora Graves Centre is a 7 seater hoist bus including driver if 2 wheelchairs are transported, 8 seater if 1 wheelchair and a 10 seater if no wheelchairs are transported

To Hire

Advance booking forms for City of Port Phillip Community Groups will be available from mid October for the booking period 1st January- 30th June and mid May for the booking period 1st July - 31st December

New registered community group withint the City of Port Phillip users please telephone 9209 6386 or 9209 6500 to register your interest.
