The Marina Reserve works will see a complete upgrade of the reserve. It includes an active recreation and skateable space, public toilets, beachside BBQ, picnic and play area, accessible walking paths, new bike lane, improved environmental features, quiet spaces to watch the water and skyline views, additional coastal vegetation and seating and reduced car parking.

The much anticipated final detailed design plans for Marina Reserve have now been released by the City of Port Phillip, along with an operations plan for the reserve.

May 2012
Council awarded the tender for the construction of Marina Reserve works at a public Council meeting on 8 May 2012. Construction is set to start in June 2012. For more information view the Council Report and minutes.

February 2012

November 2011
The Department of Sustainability and Environment has approved the final detailed design plans. Council is now progressing to a competitive tender process for the construction of the Marina Reserve works. Work is planned to commence mid 2012.
