The Port Phillip Library Service offers the services of a local history librarian who can assist with local and family history research through providing:

  • Access to the historical resources of the city which are the Port Phillip City Collection and the City Archive, City of Port Phillip's Historical Records
  • Assistance with research enquiries

The library provides a microfilm reader and microfiche reader/printer available for public use. Research resources available include:
