Port Phillip Accord
What is the Port Phillip Accord?
The Port Phillip Accord was established in 2001 to encourage and promote best practice in licensed premises in the City of Port Phillip.
The Accord consists of licensend venues within the city and is supported by Victoria Police, Responsible Alcohol Victoria (Liquor Licensing), VicRoads and the City of Port Phillip.
Why Join?
Laws and licensing relating to pubs and clubs have changed over the last few years. The main thing however is that venues know they are not alone. Although hospitality is a competitive industry, licensees need to rally together and discuss issues in an open forum.
Be there when the issues comes up - not when they have been decided for you!
With already 80 leading venues already signed up, this is a really good way to become involved in this exclusive group. Membership is open to licensees of bars, restaurants, clubs, pubs and hotels in the City of Port Phillip. Meetings are held six times per year at various venues.
