Kombiz Programs

Kombiz Youth Network is an organisation which connects young people with their community for social, personal, spiritual, and recreational development. It does this through a range of recreational and educational programs both within and outside the school environment.

• Girl Zone – A Tuesday afternoon girls group for years 5 & 6 offering a safe and fun place to enjoy activities that develop self-esteem and social skills. Jewellery box making, cooking, prizes, parties and outings for all to enjoy. 
  Tuesdays from 4:00pm - 5:30 pm at Sol Green Recreational centre.

• Impact –Mixed youth program providing positive role models and safe, affordable fun for energetic young people in years 5-6. Games and exciting activities such as trivia, master chef, bowling, drama and hip hop dance.
  Wednesdays at 4:00pm – 5:30pm at Sol Green Recreation Centre.

• Ourspace – A space for high school students to make their own and try new things. Time, materials and mentors for young people to develop interests, skills and abilities of their choosing including homework support.  Come and discuss your interests. 
  Thursdays at 4 to 6 pm at Sol Green Recreation Centre.

• On Ya Bike – A personal development program for boys based around all things bicycles. Participants learn about themselves while learning basic bicycle mechanics and road safety. Includes supervised bike ride events. No riding experience is necessary and a bike can be provided.
  Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00pm at Sol Green Recreation Centre.

• Friday Night Lounge – A drop in space for young people in years 7 -12 in the local community.  Offers cooking, pool, table tennis, movies, Xbox, Wii, Computers and more…
  Fridays from 6 pm – 8:30 pm at Sol Green Recreation Centre.
