Faulty Parking Meters and Ticket Machines Printer friendly Email to a friend   Rate this page

Parking meters and ticket machines in the City of Port Phillip are regularly checked and maintained by qualified technicians. While on patrol, the Parking Officers will also recheck the meters and machines, particularly prior to issuing a parking infringement notice.

Instructions in case of faults also appear on each meter and ticket machine. Please report any faulty parking meters. Each meter is distinctly numbered for ease of identification. Faulty meters usually refer you to the next available machine for payment. If a meter is faulty, you are still obliged to observe any time restrictions.

To report a faulty parking meter or ticket machine online use eServices.  If you prefer you can call ASSIST on (03) 9209 6228 or TTy (03) 9209 6713 and ask for Parking Services.
