Traffic congestion is one of the issues we face. If less people relied on cars the traffic and pollution would ease.

The City of Port Phillip's roads, footpaths, kerbs and drainage have been built over many decades. The council's infrastructure department maintains these assets to keep them safe and effective for the community's needs.

Road Lane Closure Permit A Road/Lane Closure permit is required to temporarily close a road or lane on Council land.
Real Estate Pointer Board Permit A Real Estate Pointer Board Permit is required to place an advertising sign on: (a) a road, road related area or Council land; (b) an area designated by the Council; or (c) any other location likely to interface with the vision of a pedestrian or driver.
