When can I get a disabled person's parking permit?A state-wide Disabled Persons' Parking Scheme currently operates in Victoria. Disabled parking permits are available if you have mobility problems or a severe disability (supported by your doctor), which limits your ability to walk long distances or requires you to take rest breaks while walking. The scheme has two categories with various parking concessions, based on your need for assistance. Please note that holding a permit will not guarantee a parking space. A person may only hold one disabled persons' parking permit. Multiple copies of permits are not available.
