• Support artists and/or organisations to develop and realise creative ideas and projects in the City of Port Phillip
• Support community managed projects
• Generate arts and cultural activity
• Build cultural identity
• Support and celebrate community diversity
• Support heritage initiatives

The Cultural Development Fund is an annual fund.

2006/07

The council received 50 applications for the 2005/06 round. A total of $130,000 was awarded to 23 successful projects.

The council received 63 applications for funding for the 2004/05 Cultural Development Fund. A total of $130,000 was awarded to 27 successful projects.
