Cultural Development Fund

The Cultural Development Fund (CDF) seeks to:

Support artists and/or organisations to develop and realise creative ideas and projects within the City of Port Phillip
Support community managed projects
Generate arts and cultural activity
Build cultural identity
Support and celebrate community diversity
Support heritage initiatives

2012/2013 Cultural Development Fund Grants

The Cultural Development Fund is an annual fund. Applications for the 2012/2013 funding round will be for projects which occur between July 2012 and June 2013.

Applications Open: Monday 20th February 2012
Applications Close: Friday 30th March 2012

2012/13 Applications Format Change

In 2012 the Cultural Development Fund will be trialling electronic applications. Some changes in the 2012/13 Cultural Development Fund Guidelines document will reflect the changes in application format, including some general tips for the electronic submission process. Details of this new process will be available at the public information session.*Please use the criteria from the 2011/12 Guidelines as basis to begin planning/drafting your project ideas.

*Please note that the Fund criteria will not change.

Copies of applicant tips, and corresponding 2012/13 guidelines documents will be available on this page by Thursday 16th February. The live link to submit an electronic application form will be available from 9am Monday 20th February.

Applicants are advised to save a draft copy of the Cultural Development Fund 2012/13 Application word version to their computers as a record before completing and submitting the online form.

In 2011, Council received 49 applications for the 2011/12 round. A total $134,500 was awarded to 21 projects.
