Community Grants
The Community Grants Scheme has now closed for projects running in the 2008/2009 financial year. The Scheme will reopen in late February 2009.
Incorporated, non-profit community organisations are encouraged to apply for projects that will strengthen communities within Port Phillip and will enhance their health and wellbeing.

Cultural Development Fund
The Cultural Development Fund has now closed for projects running in the 2008/2009 financial year. The Scheme will reopen in late February 2009.
Artists, companies, non-incorporated associations and other organisations are invited to apply for grants from the Cultural Development Fund. Funding is available to encourage community involvement in the arts, creativity and innovation; to develop and present new work; to support partnerships between organisations; and to enhance the profile and the vibrancy of the city. Projects must be based in Port Phillip and the artists/people and audience must live and work in the City of Port Phillip. Small Poppy Grants
Applications for project funding from the Small Poppy Fund are accepted throughout the year.
This matching grant scheme is designed to 'kick-start' community-led action to improve our neighbourhoods and bring people together. We are looking for new ideas that bring people together. We hope this funding will stimulate neighbourhood activities by providing the extra ingredient your neighbourhood needs to bring a project to life.

Other council support
These funds do not have an open & close date and can be applied for throughout the year though you are encouraged to call well in advance of your proposed activity or event to discuss your eligibility, the availability, the process etc.
Town Hall hire subsidy scheme
The aim of the Town Hall Hire Subsidy Scheme is to provide community organisations with affordable and accessible access to community spaces for major public relations, special events and community celebrations for the benefit of the Port Phillip Community.

Minibus hire
