Community Plan
Monitoring Progress Component
What do we mean by monitoring progress?
The Monitoring Progress component ensures that accountability and reporting back is at the forefront of our actions on the Community Plan.
Monitoring Progress Action Plan - Year 1
The Monitoring Progress Action Plan- Year 1 sets out how progress and outcomes for the fifteen community priorities will be assessed. It is designed to show where change has occurred, highlight where things have worked and where they haven't, analysis our stenghths and failures, inform future planning and policy development and contribute to community and organisational development.
Community Plan - First Year Report Back
The Port Phillip 2007-2017 Community Plan sets out agreed community priorities developed at the 2007 Community Summit. These priorities influence Councillors when they set their top priorities for the Council Plan each year.
On September 9, Council hosted a forum at the St Kilda Town Hall to report on actions taken, seek feedback on how we monitor progress and examine community involvement and participation.

Community Plan - First Year Report Cards
The Community Plan First Year Report Cards have been designed to report back on the progress for each of the fifteen priorites and each component of the Community Plan. They have been designed to report back on what Council has done over the last year and in some cases, what has been done by working together with Council, other levels of government, the community and other organisations. They also report on the indicators which are designed to track our progress. Each report card can be downloaded below.
