Community Group Training 2011

The City of Port Phillip coordinates a free annual training program that caters specifically for staff and volunteers of local not-for-profit groups and organisations.

We are asking for your feedback to assist us in planning and scheduling sessions that are relevant and respond to community areas of interest.

Volunteering Victoria - Sessions throughout the year on the topic of volunteering

  • The Centre for Culture, Ethnicity and Health - Training with a focus on skills development and provision of ethno-specific information.
  • VCOSS - Information and links to trainers, pro-bono providers, a listing of workshops, seminars and events and resources
  • PILCH - Low cost training for non-for-profit organisations on governance and legal issues.
  • Community Advocacy Unit of RMIT - Regular training and workshops on topics such as communication with the media, lobbying and campaigning.
