Community Grants Program 2008/2009
The City of Port Phillip encourages applications to the Community Grants Scheme from not for profit community groups. The Scheme aims to strengthen local communities through supporting a range of initiatives that enhance the health and well being of the Port Phillip community.
Applications
Applications to the Community Grants Scheme are now closed for the 2008/2009 financial year. The Scheme will reopen and be accepting applications from late February 2009.
Assessment Panel
Nominations to the assessment panel are now closed. The panels assess applications made to the annual Community Grants Scheme and consist of residents, councillors and council officers. Successful applicants
2008/2009: This year, over 90 projects, which actively engage local people, have received a total of $232,106 in funding. Congratulations go to all of the recipients in what was, as always is, an extremely strong field of applications!
