What does Climate Challenge 1000 involve?

Climate Challenge 1000 is a free program where City of Port Phillip residents commit to purchase 100% approved GreenPower. In return, participant households receive a free audit, and free products and installation services that save water and energy.

The home audit includes a report recommending further home actions to save even more on bills through no-cost actions.

Free installation services and products offered include:

• Changing to energy-efficient light globes;
• Replacing old showerheads with water-efficient AAA showerheads; and
• Sealing out draughts on doors and windows with weather stripping
