Clarke Shields Pavilion Redevelopment Project
The South Melbourne District Sports Club (SMDSC) has almost 1,000 families in the community who are members through participation in or support of junior football, Auskick, junior cricket, Milo cricket, little athletics or senior football.
The home of the SMDSC, the Clarke Shields Pavilion, will undergo renovations to upgrade from 1 to 4 change-rooms (including juniors’ and women’s’ facilities), a new club room/social area, new toilets and a new kitchen.
The Project Partners for the project include Sport and Recreation Victoria, Parks Victoria, City of Port Phillip, South Melbourne District Sports Club and AFL Victoria.
The project is being managed by the Sports Liaison Manager at Parks Victoria, with the project team consisting of a number of representatives of South Melbourne District Sports Club.
