Bookflix

Scholastic BookFlix is a new online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. The engaging way to link fact and fiction, BookFlix reinforces early reading skills and introduces children to a world of knowledge and exploration.

Need Help With Homework?

yourtutor is a free online service available through your library membership.

An Australian service, it connects thousands of students in Years 4-12 to tutors who provide instant help and coaching in all main subjects: Mathematics, Science, General English, Essay Writing, Assignment Research (finding information, organising reports/assignments), Study Skills (time management, note taking skills, revision techniques, etc.)

The service allows you to communicate with real tutors via an interactive chat session, exchange files, draw on a shared ideas board and watch in real time as they find study materials for you on the web.

It is accessible from home via your internet connection - you just need your library card number (IN FULL). Alternatively you may log in using the free internet computers at your local library - just make a booking with staff.
