Butt litter

 

 

 

 

 

Butt Free City is Australia's leading annual campaign which helps tackle cigarette butt littering. 
The campaign runs from the 23 to 27 March and seeks to inform smokers about the environmental, social and economic impacts of butt litter in Port Phillip. 

Educators will be walking the streets talking to people about the impacts cigarettes butts have on Port Phillip bay and its marine life.  We'll be asking them to make a pledge to PLEASE BUTT IT, THEN BIN IT.

Butt Free City is a joint initiative between the City of Port Phillip, the City of Melbourne and the Butt Littering Trust.
