Busking is defined as playing a musical instrument and/or singing, conjuring, juggling, mime, mimicry, dance, puppetry, performance art, recitation and other appropriate theatrical and visual forms. Busking is a popular occurrence in many of Port Phillip's tourist areas. Buskers need to have a council permit to busk in Port Phillip. To apply for a busking permit, complete the A fee of $50.00 applies for a three month permit on gaining approval for your busking activity and providing three passport-type photos.
