Bowen Crescent Reserve, relax here for a minute, an hour, a day...

About Bowen Crescent Reserve

Originally designed in the late 18th Century and functioning to this day as a plaza style landscape of hard surfaces. Bowen Crescent is highlighted by Hot Pokers (Kniphofia Sp) that flank Kings Domain and dominated by huge Moreton Bay Fig Trees (Ficus macrocarpa) which calm and shade this inner city landscape that springs up from in between Kings Domain and adjacent high rise offices.

A wave shaped wall provides seating under the tree canopies which are illuminated in emerald at night. The seats are also lit with azure blue diode lights creating a welcoming space round the clock, in which to enjoy a BBQ with work colleges.

A clever use of a difficult space, that had prior to its upgrade had been disused and forgotten but is now revitalised and used daily by corporate types and residents alike.
