Betty Day Community Centre first opened in January 1987.
Located in the busy heart of St. Kilda, this modern purpose-built community centre is close to
the St. Kilda Library, St. Kilda Town Hall, Carlisle Street shops and Alma Road Park
and adjoins a small park.  Following redevelopment, the centre reopened in 2009.

Some of the exciting changes to the centre include:
Increased community space
Improved universal access - the centre has full wheelchair and disability access
Environmentally sustainable design principles

The centre is used by many community groups from diverse age groups and multicultural backgrounds.
There are also council services and a drop-in space for people to engage in social activities.
The venue is available for hire.
