Bees and Wasps Printer friendly Email to a friend   Rate this page

If you have a complaint about bees and wasps on council-owned property, use eServices to ask us a question, request information or give us feedback online. If you prefer call ASSIST on (03) 9209 6777 or TTy (03) 9209 6713 and ask for Animal Management.

If you find a wasp nest on your own property, you will need to call a pest controller to have it exterminated.

If you have a bee hive on your property, you will need to contact a bee keeper and arrange to have it removed. If the hive is in a hard to reach place, you may need to call a pest controller to treat the hive.

Visit the Yellow Pages - www.yellowpages.com.au for specific listings.

Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) Plants & Animals section gives advice on a whole range of Plants and Animals, including Natives, dealing with Pest Animals - visit www.dse.vic.gov.au.
