Biography

Councillor Judith Klepner has dedicated her council term to improving services for children and families and working towards providing better care for older residents. Cr Klepner is Chair of Council’s Planning Committee and has served on numerous other council committees.

Cr Klepner lives in Albert Park with her husband and one of her two daughters, and has been a resident of Port Phillip for 25 years. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University,  graduate diplomas in Education and Inter Ethnic Studies and is a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors. She has worked for a number of years as a tutor at tertiary institutions, in policy roles for not-for-profit organisations and in industrial relations.

A participant in many community projects, Cr Klepner is a current member of Save Albert Park, Port Phillip Citizens for Reconciliation, Emily's List, Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria, Community Aid Abroad, VCOSS and the Community Alliance of Port Phillip.

Cr Klepner is a Director of Inner South Community Health Service and a member of the state Adult, Community and Further Education Board.
