Add your Vacancy
Council's volunteer register provides free internet advertising for local community organisations looking for volunteers. To add your vacancy to the register, please complete the appropriate form below and return it to Monique Cosgrove at mcosgrov@portphillip.vic.gov.au.

- Committee of Management: Committee of Management Registration Form
Note: The register is managed and maintained by Council and Council reserves the right to determine what information is displayed on this site.
Please contact Monique Cosgrove on 9209 6345 / mcosgrov@portphillip.vic.gov.au to remove your advertisement once your position has been filled.
Criteria
In order to advertise vacancies, organisations must meet the criteria listed below:
- Not for profit community organisations or projects
- Provide services to the Port Phillip community
- Provide appropriate recruitment, induction, supervision, support and management of volunteers
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Comply with equal opportunity and anti discrimination legislation
- Vacancies must be designated volunteer positions
Responsibility of Organisations
It is the responsibility of community organisations advertising volunteer vacancies to:
- Complete the appropriate registration form and ensure that the information they provide is a true representation of the organisation and the volunteer vacancy
- Provide a clear description of the nature of the volunteer vacancy/s
- Ensure that information listed on the register is up to date and current
- Select suitable volunteers through screening and interviewing
- Meet all legal and other requirements for involving volunteers in organisations
