Adopt a Tree

Watch how Trevor the Tree survives the long hot summer.

Pick up a bucket and adopt a tree !!

Whilst we have had plenty of rain this spring, the years of drought have had an impact on our beautiful plants, trees and bushes in the City of Port Phillip and they still need your care and attention.

You can make a difference, by adopting and watering a tree in your street or local area.  All you need to do is water your tree weekly; using greywater from your shower, bathtub, sink and washing machine (using biodegradable detergents).

To help you capture your greywater, council is giving away  FREE buckets.

Drop into one of the below locations to collect your bucket:

Port Melbourne Town Hall:     333 Bay Street, Port Melbourne

South Melbourne Town Hall:     222 Bank Street, South Melbourne

St Kilda Town Hall:    99a Carlisle Street, St Kilda
