Holding an event in the City of Port Phillip?

Simply complete this online Calendar of Events Entry Form and we can help promote your event for free. 

Note:  Details supplied, including contact details, will be published on this website and may also be published in print in the council's bi-monthly newsletter Divercity.

If you are planning a large event / promotion or want to hold an event on the foreshore or in a park / open space, please read the Events, Weddings & Functions in Parks page. 

* Events which are included in the Port Phillip Calendar of Events are of interest to the Residents, Businesses or Visitors of the City of Port Phillip, where they meet at least one of the following criteria:

• City of Port Phillip council events (e.g. functions, services, meetings, ceremonies, consultation sessions, neighbourhood forums, small-business seminars, community group training)
• Events at town halls, libraries or other council locations/facilities
• Community group and not-for-profit events (e.g. fund raising, awareness, meetings, new membership days)
• Events held in, or sponsored by, the City of Port Phillip, that encourage community participation (e.g. triathlons, art exhibitions, festivals, markets)
• Registered charity events (e.g. Red Nose Day, Jeans for Genes Day)

*Events which are of a purely promotional nature for commercial businesses are not included (e.g. sales, specials, discounts, offers).

Note: The City of Port Phillip reserves the right to edit, not include or remove events submitted.

The council makes every effort to avoid errors in the events listings. However, the council accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors and requires that organisers check their events listing for errors as soon as they are placed on the site. Any errors can be edited on the advice of the organiser.
