The future of the St Kilda Festival is up for grabs make sure you have your say!
St Kilda Festival is just around the corner and council is reviewing the event to determine whether it’s meeting council’s strategic objectives and how it can deliver maximum public value to the local community.
As part of this process, an online forum www.stkildafestivalreview.com.au has been set up so that a wide range of people can have their say about the festival.
The forum aims to capture people’s experiences of the festival, encouraging users to bring forward their ideas on what is working and how the festival might be improved.
“We want to ensure that the views of the community are expressed and taken into account during council’s review of the St Kilda Festival,” said Mayor Cr Frank O’Connor.
“If you’re interested in the festival, or you would like to see it changed or improved, I encourage you to get online and share your views in the forum,” he added.
People can wax lyrical about topics such as their ideal line up, what the festival means to them personally, what is good about the festival and what should change.
The forum will be around until Monday 16 November, so make sure you do not miss out on having your say.
Next year will be a milestone year for the St Kilda Festival, with the free public event celebrating its 30th year.
